Multi Tool Blades

United Diamond Tools sells several types of multitool blades:

Multi Tool Blades: For Fein multi tools with the SuperCut tool holder (pre 2016) only. (You can also use them if you have an adaptor - which we do not sell). These blades can be used for cutting tiles, removing grout and a variety of other uses. These premium quality blades are the same price as cheap blades, but perform far better, so offer fantastic value for money.
	Sickle blade - sold out 64mm segment blade 92mm segment blade Suits Fein multi tools with SuperCut tool holder (pre 2016) or with an adaptor (try Bunnings). The ID (point to point) is 20mm. The OD (point to point) is 21.9mm. Diamond section approx 1.52mm thick (when new) $10 each incl GST

Tips:  - When cutting nails and steel, reduce speed by at least 2 settings. Then move blade side to side to help cutting.  - Do not push the tool to cut in direction with no cutting edge. This will damage the tool.  - When cutting, move forward so that tool speed does not slow down ie don't force it.  - Do not let blade overheat or it will loose abrasive grit.

Diamond Pipe Cutters

These are used for cutting PVC pipes clean and square below the surface.
Ideal for plumbers, tilers and electricians, but even DIY applications.
Can be used with most rotary drills.

Dymaxion diamond hole enlarger

Used to enlarge an existing hole.
Suitable for most building materials including porcelain and stone. 
Will also grind irregular shapes and rebates.

Attach to drill and slowly rotate in anti clockwise direction, using firm pressure.

Silica dust - when workers cut, drill, polish, saw, crush or grind products that contain silica, particles are created, which are one-hundredth of the size of a grain of sand. These can get  stuck deep in the lungs. 
Ensure precautions to limit exposure to dust are in place.

Note - If you are cutting dry, always be aware of the danger of breathing in the dust. Ensure a dust extraction system is used with a suitable filter fitted. Use a half face respirator or a PAPR (Powered air purifying respirator). Even if you are cutting wet, the slurry created can dry out and create a hazard for other users - dispose of slurry as per your local regulations.
