Diamond Spiral Bands

KGS Flexis Diamond spiral bands are small cylinders made of dot patterned diamond sanding paper in a range of grits.
They are ideal for grinding and polishing in small spots, curved or contoured surfaces.
They can be used to remove material or imperfections from fired clay,  glaze, glass, tile, stone and porcelain.
The abrasive bands are placed over an expanding rubber mandrel (sold separately), which then attaches to your drill (ideally cordless). 

Wet use only.
Speed recommendation: 45m/sec
Backing  – Strong heavy XY polyester, water- and emulsion proof

(Bigger diameters up to 150mm available on special order)

Grits:
#60, #120, #200, #400, #800, #1500 and #3000

• Only use with water (to keep diamond cool and reduce dust)
• Wear safety glasses, and other PPE as needed
• Recommended - use with a cordless (battery) drill, not corded (240V)

Note - When workers cut, saw, crush, drill, polish or grind products that contain silica, particles are created, which are one-hundredth of the size of a grain of sand. These can get  stuck deep in the lungs. Ensure precautions to limit exposure to dust are in place. 
Use a half face respirator or a PAPR (Powered air purifying respirator).
