KGS diamond polishing belts are for grinding and polishing in industrial applications (they are not designed for DIY customers).
The Flexis BPG belts have a strong but flexible poly cotton backing that is water and emulsion proof.
The jointing technology is smooth, extra strong and long lasting.

Flexis Belts are often used to remove overspray for HVOF ( High Velocity Oxygen Fuel), which is a thermal spray coating process used to improve or restore a component's surface and thermal barrier coatings.
And also on c-BN (Cubic Boron Nitride) where grinding and polishing of ferrous materials is required.
Flexis belt BPG backing:
- Dot pattern - nickel electroplated with diamond grain.
- Recommended speed 25 - 32m/sec
- Maximum speed 45m/sec
- Use with coolant
To quote the best belt for your application we need to know:
- What kind of HVOF coating?
- Wet or dry use?
- What kind of result do you require?
- Have you used a belt before, and what were the results?
- What is Ra required?
- What size belt do you require?
Below is a custom made belt, 60 grit, 2000mm by 150mm wide.
Note - When workers cut, crush, saw, drill, polish or grind products that contain silica, particles are created, which are one-hundredth of the size of a grain of sand. These can get stuck deep in the lungs. Ensure precautions to limit exposure to dust are in place.
Use a half face respirator or a PAPR (Powered air purifying respirator).
