Blade Adaptors
We have a large range of adaptors to reduce your diamond blade centre hole to the size you need.
They are reusable, so don't throw them away!
Contact us with the size adaptor you need, as well as its thickness.
** Always ensure your blade flanges will clamp the adaptor in place - otherwise the adaptors may come out when used with dished flanges **
Common sizes are:
7/8" (22.23mm) to 20mm
1" (25.4mm) to 7/8" (22.23mm)

30mm to 1" (25.4mm)
30mm to 7/8" (22.23mm)
50mm to 1" (25.4 mm)

Bordo Circular Saw Blade Bushes kit:
Part number 7452-BA
1 each of:
30mm - 1"; 30 - 25mm; 30 - 16mm; 25 - 22.2mm; 25 - 20mm; 25 - 16mm; 20 - 16mm; 20 - 10mm.
$8.50 incl GST
Note - Adaptors usually slide into place with finger pressure.
If adaptor is tight in centre hole, fully support blade in the centre, and use only light taps to hammer in, so as not to bow the blade.
If adaptor is loose in centre hole, a bit of thread locker will hold them in place.
The adaptors are just a guide for the centre shaft - it is the flanges that actually hold the blade.
Dressing stones
Our dressing stones "open up" a diamond blade which have been glazed up as a consequence of cutting hard materials. Depending on the condition (wear) of your diamond blade, it will be necessary to use the dressing stone several times, simply by cutting a few centimeters into it.
Regular use of dressing stones will keep you blade performing at its best.
80 grit, 200mm x 50mm x 25mm Premium Series (Red colour)
These are a superior, more uniform composition stone and are very effective at sharpening compared to the Trade series. They are also silica free ( iron trioxide - Fe2O3).
$35 each including GST
80 grit, 200mm x 50mm x 25mm Trade series (White colour)
These are sandier composition than the Premium series, but well priced.
$20 each including GST
($15 ea when in box of 24)
To use, ensure you wear eye protection. Cut across the stone in one direction only (not forward and back) to a depth of about half the thickness of the stone (Then the stone can be turned over and the other side used). A few cuts should be sufficient to dress your blade.
To see how to use a dressing stone, see this video (it shows a deglazing a tile saw blade, but the principle is the same).
